TSX is the HiRef range of air cooled liquid chillers with Scroll compressors. Three different versions (chiller, Free-Cooling chiller and reversible heat pump) and numerous models covering different power requirements make these units highly versatile and suited to a wide range of system contexts. Sizing and selection of individual components have focused on containing energy consumption, aiming to provide energy savings not just on individual chillers but the entire system. The adoption of the multiscroll solution, the use of electronically controlled expansion valves, generously-sized plate heat exchangers, software-managed integrated control of fans and circulation pumps are all key features that make the TSX range particularly efficient at partial loads. The carefully arranged component layout together with the use of compact plate heat exchangers and Scroll compressors allow to take advantage from generous condensing sections and for Free-Cooling , enough internal space for fitting a wide range of accessories and hydraulic options. Three different soundproofing systems are available: the most suitable one will depend on the importance of noise containment in the overall plant context. Adopted technical solutions include fan speed control, the use of anti-vibration devices on the refrigerating circuit, compartmentalisation of compressors and pumping kits in a box internally lined with soundabsorbing material. The Free-Cooling versions can be selected with the Glycol-Free kit (on board the unit) to confine the water-antifreeze mix inside the finned coils. This solution maximises heat exchange efficiency at the evaporator by using only pure water; it also drastically reduces pumping costs and eliminates glycol circulation inside the user system. TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS Scroll compressors Configurations available for the refrigerating circuit: -EFFICIENCY PACK 1 (from 50 to 226 kW): dual compressor on dual circuit for high system redundancy. -EFFICIENCY PACK 2 (from 50 to 226 kW): dual compressor (tandem) on single circuit for greater efficiency at partial loads. -EFFICIENCY PACK 4 (from 100 to 438 kW): four compressors (dual tandem) on dual circuit, for a redundant system that is also efficient at low loads. -Two or four refrigerating circuits with a number of Scroll compressors ranging from 4 to 12 for capacities above 438 kW.
